The new St James’ Centre was opened in 1998.
It is beside the Old Hall pub in Heysham Road (LA3 2RT) and is used as a Parish, Community and Worship Centre.
There are two modern halls with a glass-fronted connecting lobby, a well-equipped kitchen, a good car park and grounds. The centre has an award for disabled access and facilities.
